Where is TouchBistro Online Ordering available?

TouchBistro Online Ordering is currently available in the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec).

Which languages are supported?

Our Online Ordering software is only available in English. You can write your menu items in any language that uses the Latin alphabet.

Which POS does TouchBistro Online Ordering integrate with?

We only integrate with the TouchBistro POS.

How can customers place orders?

Your customers can place orders in three ways when your restaurant uses TouchBistro Online Ordering: 1) Your website: You will be able to add an “Order Now” button to your restaurant’s website during the onboarding process. 2) Direct Link / Social Media: You will also receive a direct URL to your online ordering page that you can share with customers anywhere, including on social media. 3) TouchBistro Dine: Customers can also place orders with you through TouchBistro’s discovery site.

Can customers schedule orders in advance?

Yes, customers can use your online ordering platform to order ahead and
schedule pick up for a time that is convenient for them.
This feature is especially useful for large orders and special occasions, like Mother’s Day. With our TouchBistro Loyalty integration, you can even influence ordering behaviour by providing incentives for ordering during off-peak times.

Can TouchBistro help me update my website to add online ordering capabilities?

TouchBistro is not able to update your restaurant’s website directly but will provide you with the code for your “Order Now” button. Please contact your website administrator for help adding this button. In the meantime, you can share your online ordering page directly with customers using your restaurant’s TouchBistro Dine page.

Can my customers pay online? Can they tip online as well?

Yes, your restaurants can pay and tip online. Integrated online payments are currently available to TouchBistro customers in the United States and Canada. Do you offer delivery?

For restaurants with their own delivery fleet, delivery can be added as an option within TouchBistro Online Ordering.

Do you integrate with Uber Eats, Foodora, or SkipTheDishes and their delivery fleets?

TouchBistro Online Ordering is perfect for restaurants that have their own delivery drivers. For restaurants that would like to integrate third-party delivery services, see TouchBistro’s online ordering integrations.

How can my delivery drivers accept debit and credit card transactions from customers?

To accept card transactions at the door, you’ll need a long range card reader. Please contact TouchBistro support for more details. Alternatively, you can call your customer at the phone number they provided with their order and take payment over the phone.

Do I need to sign a long-term commitment to use TouchBistro Online Ordering?

No! If you don’t feel like this is the right solution for you, you can cancel at any time.

How do I get notified when an order is placed?

You’ll receive a notification on your TouchBistro POS whenever a customer places an order online.

TouchBistro Online Ordering is 100% commission-free – does that mean I don't pay card fees?

Card processing fees will still apply. However, TouchBistro Online Ordering does not charge any commission fees on online orders, unlike many third-party providers.
