What has your career path at TouchBistro been like?

I started as a Bilingual Spanish Product Support Technician in Tier 1. I have been promoted to be on the Support Escalations team as a Tier 2 Product Support Technician. I have been now promoted to be a Loyalty & Adoption Specialist.

What makes working at TouchBistro special?

I work as one of the only Spanish speakers on my team, so I get to support our LATAM customers on the escalation team. I love being able to solve challenges for our customers and make sure they are getting the most out of our product. The teams we get to work with internally are also really supportive – it’s great knowing you have your team leads and team members always willing to jump in and lend a helping hand!

What is your experience like working in the restaurant industry?

When I was 16, I worked in a restaurant in Mexico back home. We didn’t use a POS system there, it was just pen and paper. Then I got a job at Häagen-Dazs, where I became familiar with using a POS system. I really enjoyed the aspect of talking with the customers and my goal was always to treat the customers as friends.

If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Sushi. It’s always an option to go for because it’s healthy and delicious. One of my favorite experiences was when I was visiting Manchester, England and they had plates of sushi on a rotating conveyor belt. Such a memorable experience!

What passions do you have outside of work?

I love going to the gym and staying healthy.

Do you have any pets? Give us an intro!

I have a dog and a cat. I also have 4 fish tanks full of fish. I have shrimps, betta fish, and tetra fish. I probably have about 200 fish total.

What was the last podcast that you listened to?

The last podcast that I listened to is called: 9 Mistakes That We Make in Love and Relationships.
