Chapter 1. What’s New in TouchBistro 7.2.3

TouchBistro 7.2.3 now integrates with the Square Register app. We’ve also added an ability to reload data to the Shogo integration.

You now also adjust your guest checks to include the bill number.

Consult these release notes for full details on these changes along with other significant improvements to the cloud reporting site.

Chapter 2. Square Integration

TouchBistro now supports the Square Register app as a payment integration.

You can enable Square under Admin | Admin Settings | Payment Gateways.

Simply tap Setup and then the connect option. You will need to enter your Square email address and password. The Square Register app also needs to be on the same iPad as TouchBistro.

Chapter 3. Bill Number

Under Admin | Admin Settings | Bill & Chit you can now include a bill number on the guest check.

It can be useful to cross reference with the following reports that reference a bill number:

1.   Detailed Takeout Report

2.   Void Report

3.   Detailed Discount Report

4.   Detailed Account Report

5.   Detailed Sales CSV

If you need to double check a particular bill number referenced in one of the above reports, note the date/time and the bill number.

Access TouchBistro’s Bill / Guest Check History, set the time/date wheels for a date range that brackets the bill date/time.

After you tap Refresh, locate the Bill # in the Search Results area.

Chapter 4. Shogo Upload Option

If you’re using the Shogo integration, you can now re-upload data for any given day.

Tap Reupload Date and use the date/time wheel to set the day you wish to upload. Tap Upload to initiate the upload.
