KDS Screen Size Comparison

Chapter 1. Introduction

The Kitchen Display System (KDS) can be used on any iPad. However, for best results we suggest running it on iPads with the largest screens. The iPad Pro 12.9″ is currently the largest iPad offered by Apple.

Chapter 2. Ticket Size Comparison

The KDS has three ticket Size view settings: small, medium and large. Below are visual comparisons of ticket sizes settings on a 9.7″ iPad and the 12.9″ iPad Pro.

Section 1. Small ticket size

iPad 9.7″ & iPad mini 7.9″

iPad Pro 10.5″

iPad Pro 12.9″ & 11″

An iPad 9.7″ or iPad mini 7.9″ can display 4 full tickets if set for Small. It can display 10 preview tickets in the bottom scroller bar.

The iPad Pro 10.5″ can display 4 full tickets if set for Small. It can display 13 preview tickets in the bottom scroller bar.

 

The iPad Pro 12.9″ can display 5 full tickets if set for Small. It can display 13 preview tickets in the bottom scroller bar.

Section 2. Medium ticket size

iPad 9.7″ & iPad mini 7.9″

iPad Pro 10.5″

iPad Pro 12.9″ & 11″

An iPad 9.7″ or iPad mini 7.9″ can display 3 full tickets if set for Medium. It can display 10 preview tickets in the bottom scroller bar.

The iPad Pro 10.5 ” can display 4 full tickets if set for Medium. It can display 12 preview tickets in the bottom scroller bar.

 

The iPad Pro 12.9″ can display 4 full tickets if set for Medium. It can display 13 preview tickets in the bottom scroller bar.

Section 3. Large ticket size

iPad 9.7″ & iPad mini 7.9″

iPad Pro 10.5″

iPad Pro 12.9″ & 11″

An iPad 9.7″ or iPad mini 7.9″ can display 2 full tickets if set for Large. It can display 10 preview tickets in the bottom scroller bar.

A 10.5″ iPad Pro can display three full tickets if set for Large. It can display 12 preview tickets in the bottom scroller bar.

The iPad Pro 12.9″ can display 3 full tickets if set for Large. It can display 13 preview tickets in the bottom scroller bar.
