Setting Up your Menu Workflow in Menu Management 1.0

Menu Management gives you a slightly different workflow for setting up your menu.

TouchBistro App Workflow

In the app you would typically set your menu in the following stages:

1. Set up your Taxes (rates, additional taxes)

2. Set up any needed Sales Categories (e.g., Merchandise)

3. Set up your Menu Categories

4. Set up Menu Items under a Menu Category

5. Set up Modifier Groups and then bulk associate them with Menu Items

6. Create any needed Menus

7. Add Menu Categories to your Menus

Menu Management Workflow

Menu Management changes the order slightly, allowing you to create your Menus (Full, Dinner, Lunch, Brunch, etc.) first and then add Menu Categories and Menu Items under your Menu or Menus. This section assumes you’re going to follow the following flow:

1. Set up your Taxes (rates, additional taxes)

2. Set up any needed Sales Categories (e.g., Merchandise)

3. Set up your Menus

4. Set up Menu Categories under your Menus

5. Set up Menu Items for your Menu Categories

6. Set up Modifier Groups and then bulk associate them with Menu Items

7. Set your Menu Category printers on the TouchBistro app.

8. Publish your changes.

9. Fine tune your Menu Items if needed.
